For those of you who've been putting off the purchase of Vol. I because you've been busy promoting some iconoclastic statement: eschewing traditional physical media in favor of wild-eyed visions of boundless digital streams, pipelining electronic scores directly, instantaneously—at your convenience, command and desire—into a myriad portable devices; as limitless as the Universal Will itself... Well... You now, officially, have no excuse: Vol. I is finally on iTunes. Viva la fricken Revolution (and buy a digital copy of our album while you're at it)!   я

10.03.2008 - My, aren't they a Chatty Bunch? --

Last night, Sobriety wrapped up an interview with Nyght Scene. Hallena and Lauren were darn good sports and put up fairly well with the band members' general verbosity. Look for Sobriety in the November '08 issue.   я

10.02.2008 - Φine... we Φixed it... Happy? --

Well, the "clever" little design choice to begin the abbreviation "photos" [in the BAND section] with the greek letter "φ" (since "ph" and "φ" have the same sound and all but "φ" looks cooler) was met with about a half-thousand emails decrying our mispelling of "photos"... after the 400th explanation... We decided we apparently weren't as clever as we originally thought (or were entirely too clever, depending on one's interpretation). So—in an effort to avoid any further confusion—we're exclusively using the Roman alphabet from here on. (We will, however, continue to use Arabic numerals.)   я

09.14.2008 - Showoffs... --

The industry showcase was a blast and we managed to catch the eye (ear?) of the editor of Nyght Scene Magazine. Eternal glory is, no doubt, just beyond the horizon; we'll naturally post all the developments as they come. Incidentally, we also happened to get some superlative video that'll no doubt soon begin populating our myspace, YouTube and, of course, this very site... That is... As soon as we get through the editing process on all this other unsorted footage...   я

07.22.2008 - In this Digital Age (part II) --

The website lives once more! Be sure to check back every few weeks or so—'cause the site's an ever-evolvin' work in progress... In the upcoming months we'll be addin' online-only access to exclusive recordings, demos and previews of upcoming Volume releases, a Sobriety merchandise virtual marketplace, and some features far too classified to reveal at this early date... 06.20.2008 - Good Things Come to Those Who Wait --

Late this Friday evening, Sobriety put the finishing touches on Volume I at Red Room Recorders. Now that mastering is complete, this long awaited masterpiece of musical fortitude will be sent out for mass production and will be available for purchase in early July. An album release party is in the planning stages. Details coming soon.   §
